Greater Boston
Now Hiking for the 2009 Season
The Barefoot Hikers of Greater Boston are affiliated with 12 barefoot Hiking groups across
America offering a safe and fun alternative to traditional hiking. Most of our hikes are within or
near the Route 128/95/93/MBTA belt offering quick access to local trail hiking. In addition, we
also have barefoot walks in or near Boston or Cambridge.

Occasionally we are asked if it hurts to hike barefoot or how can that be done. Repeat hikers
will say that it does not hurt and the freedom and experience outweighs any perceived notion.
Barefoot Hikers of Greater Boston meet on Saturdays and Sundays at 10AM or 1PM.  All
correspondence is done through email with the hike leader so that the hike leader  may know
how many people are coming and who to wait for should someone be running late.
There are no fees associated with the Barefoot Hikers of Greater Boston. We do it for the "love
of it". No experience is needed.

If you are interested in more information or want to be on our email list to be notified about
upcoming hikes, please fill in the form below to email us with name and experience to identify
